15th December Christmas Special Feature Guests Bric a Brac

The next Shirley Folk Club at the Red Lion will be the last one of the year and what a lovely year it has been. We have had some great feature guests and performers over the last twelve months which have made Club nights so enjoyable and of course where would we be without our lovely audience. So to get us all in the Christmas spirit, we thought we’d invite one of the Club’s favourites ‘Bric a Brac’ to fininsh the year off in style.

Bric a Brac, herald from exotic corners of Yorkshire and the Midlands such as Bradford, Sherwood Forest and Moseley Bog, they play an eclectic mix of instruments; sing original and traditional songs and tunes in their repertoire that can lead to anything from concertina to 5-string bass. It promises to be another packed evening so getting  there early might be a good idea.

As Bric a Brac will be performing for the whole of the second half of the evening the first half will be for floor singers. Last year we had nineteen floor singers lets see if we can beat that number this year!

Doors open a 7.45 for a 8pm start.
