The Melancholy Brothers are Dave and Russell and they have been making music together for more years than they care to remember, in different bands and in various lineups. Now an acoustic duo, they decided a few years ago to concentrate purely on writing and performing their own songs and have played at the Club on numerous occassions with their beautifully blended harmony vocals and finely crafted guitar arrangements. They say their lyrics tend towards the melancholy, hence the name, but they often include wry humour, social observation and even philosophical musing not to mention the odd love song! It promises to be a night to remember.

Of course there will be the 2 song floor spots for everyone else who wants to strut their stuff!

Doors open at 7.45 for a 8 o’clock start.
