De Kelten serve up a treat

De Kelten – 7th September 2012

De Kelton provided a great concert last Friday with an excellent set of Irish music featuring ballads, slow airs, lively tunes and great, upbeat songs. All delivered with skill, humour and obvious enjoyment on a warm, late summer evening.

The band were ably supported by Where’s Mary, Simeon and Finbar and a new raffle prize series!! Linda and John have donated their fine collection of “Great Plates of the World” also know as “Crittenden’s Crocs” and Martin and Wendy proudly took Vietnam home. How long can this one run for?!

Our next meeting is on 21st September when we will be holding a performer’s night with all welcome.
