A busy June programme

Club meetings in June

With there being five Fridays in June we have three meetings rather than the usual two.

On 1st June we have a performer’s night following our usual format. All performers are welcome to take a two song spot.

15th June brings another performer’s night but with an extended feature spot from the excellent young band InBetweenSeas, a 4 piece band who bring an eclectic mix of alternative folk music to their audiences. They are currently recording their first album and appearing in music venues around the West Midlands. The rest of the evening will take the usual performer’s night format so all performers are welcome too!

On 22nd June we have our latest guest night when we welcome Cara Luft to the club. All the way from Canada, Cara will be our very first international guest artist and our second Five Fridays Feature. Cara is turning heads with her blend of roots, folk, rock and country music. A true Alt-Roots/Folk artist to the core, Cara honours the roots tradition, embraces the heart of the singer-songwriter, and brings in-depth instrumentation and superior musicianship to the mix.
