We have a real treat in store at our next meeting on 18th November when we welcome Dan Walsh and Will Pound to the club.

Touted as the finest banjo player in the UK, Dan Walsh is an eclectic and exciting musician with a unique style taking in folk, funk, bluegrass, jazz, rock and even Arabic. Also a singer and guitarist, he has performed throughout the UK at festivals, theatres and folk clubs including the Southbank Centre, the Sage Gateshead, Broadstairs Folk Week, Solfest and Towersey and a busy year ahead, both solo and as one half of amazing new duo Walsh and Pound includes appearances at Sidmouth Folk Week and London’s Barbican.

Will Pound is one of the most accomplished Chromatic and Diatonic Harmonica players around on the music scene today. Happy to play all types of music ranging from blues and jazz to funk and folk, Will has worked alongside such artists as Sandra Kerr (Bagpuss composer) and Edward Jay (West end and threatre musician).

This is definitely not a night to be missed!!
