Scarecrow 17th March

Ever had that experience of being in a room full of friends, old and new and knowing for a few hours all is well with the world? Well that’s how last night at the Shirley Folk Club at the Red Lion (B90 3AX) felt. Scarecrow, our featured guest were excellent from start to finish and we hope they will be back soon.

Geoff hosted the evening supported by Ray, Steve and Chris, John, Diane, Sam, Meloncholy Brothers, Albert, Wendy and NooT. Scarecrow came back to finish the night off in great style to send us home happy.

The raffle saw the return of the ‘Three Envelopes’ containing mystery prizes, so a special mention to raffle winner Brenda who picked envelope number 3 and won a grand total of £5!
