Another good night in Shirley

Chris Cleverley put together a great set for us on Friday night with some fine songs and guitar playing, not to mention the appearance of a banjo. Chris had able support on the floor from Russell and Dave with their west coast harmonies, Pete, Ray, Finbar, Where’s Mary (with a new comic routine?), Simon, John, the Tuesday Club and rounded off with some lovely songs from Barry and Ed.

If I have forgotten anyone, my apologies but I didn’t get the sheet off Pete. Mea culpa. The next session is on the 20th and it will be Christmas, so bring your festive songs and be prepared to singalong. This will be the end of our fourth year as a club and I think that is something worth celebrating.
