Last Friday in Shirley

Another great Performer’s Night at the Shirley Red Lion saw Pete host an evening of some variety. Pete of course opened with one of his fabulous self penned songs and then Andy took the stage assisted by Laura and gave us some tunes and a song. Newcomers Dave and Mike also played us some great tunes on mandolin and guitar and another new duo Russell and Dave entertained us with west coast harmonies and great guitar work. Songs from Stuart, Paul, Simon and Laura and poetry from Finbar and Marten were rounded off by club favourites Barry and Ed. All in all a great evening.

The next club is on the 21st and is another Performer’s Night with a feature spot from Red Shoes. Laura will be the host for the evening. The next night after that is the 5th July, the beginning of Independence Weekend and Geoff will be hosting an American themed evening with a special re-appearance from Spruce Bringsteen.
