Friday Night was Performers’ Night

StartSelection:0000000199 EndSelection:0000001158 What a great night.  You never know quite what you are going to get on a Performers’ Night but you can always guarantee that it will be interesting and Friday was no exception.  I really enjoyed MC’ing the mixture on Friday and it was particularly enjoyable to introduce some new talent, Kim’s dulcimer, John with the accordion and some fine tunes and Bernard with his self penned songs.  We also saw some old friends who had travelled from Warwick and Tamworth, Nigel with some fine country picking and songs from Dave Fry, not to mention regular contributors Simeon, John, Pete, Finbar, Where’s Mary and all rounded up by Barry and Ed in particularly good form.  There was also a welcome return performance from Ray with some of his fabulous mini plays.
