Performer’s Night

Friday proved to be one of the busiest Performer’s Nights we have had at the Shirley Red Lion. Hosted by Pete we saw a welcome return from Tarmac and Ric, songs from John, Simon, Mike, Nigel, Paul, Where’s Mary and Laura and poetry from Finbar, Mike and Marten. We also had a new arrival, John, playing some great tunes on the banjo. Highlight of the evening was the late arrival (a few weeks or so) of the Shirley Pipers and the fantastic performance by Dave. I had no idea the pipes were quite so loud!
