Happy New Year this Friday at the Shirley Red Lion

Christmas night was a barrel of fun at the Red Lion with a memorable performance from Thrup’nny Bits with a little help from their dog. Let’s hope it was the precursor to a Merry Christmas for all of you. I was also pretty taken with the idea of Laura bringing that cajon along as a regular feature. One man and a guitar tends to end up mid paced as a norm but the addition of some percussion really allows some variety to song choice and tempo.

This Friday, 4th January, is a Performer’s Night with Julian at the helm, so plenty of players spots and a chance to recover from the holiday week with some music. See you there.
